REDLANDS CINEMA CLASSICS presents The Manhattan Short Film Fesitval

The new owners of LOOK CINEMAS have agreed to let us continue our Foreign film series. To inaugurate our return this Fall we will be screening The Manhattan Short Film Festival…. a series of 10 short films, some only 7 minutes long … and at the end of the screening you will go back to the lobby for snacks and beverages to fill out your ballot on the films – Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, etc, etc.! Just like the Oscars!

BUT … there are over 500 venues in cities around the world watching the same films on the same days and voting …. just like you will! Canada, France, Australia, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, Bermuda, Mexico….and on and on.

Screening Dates: Wednesday, September 29 at 6 pm or Thursday, September 30 at 2:30 pm. Same films will be shown each day.

$ 25 per person includes snacks and beverages (cash bar available). Buy your tickets at the Redlands Art Association Mon-Sat, 11 am to 5 pm or at Look Cinemas (formally Krikorian Theater, Studio Movie Grill Theater). Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the theater before screenings.

Update from Annette Weis, Coordinator, 9-15-21

Greetings Redlands Cinema Classic Patrons

I’m excited to present THE MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL this month on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 6 pm and Thursday, Sept. 30 at 2.30 pm at LOOK CINEMAS 340 N Eureka St, Redlands (formally Krikorian)

Though it’s not our usual format of presenting 4-5 feature films, it’s an unusual opportunity for us to get together again. We will return hopefully in 2022 with our Spring and Fall series.

With regards to wearing masks and social distancing at the theatre…

There is no mandated policy by the County of San Bernardino and therefore the theatre.

We suggest to patrons that this is their choice whether to wear masks or practice social distancing.

General Manager Bryan Aubin stated that his entire staff is required to wear masks and gloves.

We will be screening in two theatres each day with no reserved seating therefore you may sit wherever and with whomever you wish.

See you at LOOK for the MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL!

Sincerely,

Annette Weis, Coordinator”
