Janet Edwards writes on behalf of the MCAEEF committee to relay very sad news to the RAA members and to the community. On December 12th, George Bartch died after six months of declining health issues and an unexpected serious illness.
George was a long time member of the MCAEEF committee, including a term as committee chairman, and gave his services for years as assistant treasurer and secretary. He loyally and enthusiastically offered his time and talent, believing that the cause of art education was important. We miss him and our sympathies go out to Gloria and her family at this difficult time.
