Welcome to The Overstory exhibit by Elizabeth Rydall. This series of paintings in a variety of mediums and techniques is all about the life of trees and the extraordinary communities they build.

Elizabeth started young–painting fish houses and demolition cars in Minnesota. At University, she won Best Watercolorist both her junior and senior years. With two careers going side by side, actor and artist, she found great balance and started a family. When her own kids were little she was one of the ten in The Ten Women Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. As a breast cancer/divorce/start-over survivor she thanks artistry in getting her through some very difficult times. In 2021 after selling many paintings every year, she got an online store and it was transformative! Original painting sales doubled, and merchandise with her art images on them became a reality. Growth mindset is her lane, so who knows what this year will bring!
