Opening reception:  Saturday June 20, 1–4 pm

Larry Dierdorff will be the Featured Artist at the Redlands Art Association Gallery from June 13 to July 10.  Larry has been involved in various art forms from wheel-thrown ceramics to stained glass to murals, and now, paintings on canvas.

Larry worked in stained glass and ceramics for 50 years each and taught art at A.B. Miller High School in Fontana for 14 years.  He taught a special education classroom at Mariposa School in Redlands for 22 years, using the arts to teach science and social studies.

He has painted over 200 murals in the Inland Empire. When Larry doesn’t have a mural commission, he paints on canvas.  Being from Redlands, oranges have become one of Larry’s favorite subjects.  Larry also likes to paint reflections in water and reflection of cars on the sides of other vintage automobiles.

The reception for Larry’s art will be on June 20, from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon.  Larry looks forward to meeting with you.
