19 Feb Multi-Media Mini Show Grand Opening March 1st
The 44th Annual Multi-Media Mini Show will extol the virtues of the small art piece… a framed mini window into the painter’s or photographer’s subject ~ an eye-catching piece that doesn’t take up a lot of space ~ original art gift sized. Over 100 artists from Southern California will be bringing in their art for review by our jurist, Robin St. Louis from Palm Desert. She will select which pieces will be in the exhibit. Being selected for a juried show is noteworthy on any artist’s resume.
A special viewing time for our Patrons of the Arts will be on Thursday, Feb 28, 11:30 am to 1 pm. A Patron is anyone who pledges to buy art from the exhibit, supporting not only the Redlands Art Association but the artist community. Just by reading this article shows that you are a Patron. The Grand Opening of the show will be on Friday, March 1 from 5 to 7 pm. The public is invited to attend and admire our small gems, as well as meet the artists.
Artists who want to enter the show can visit the Gallery downtown for the prospectus and insurance form or download the forms from this website, on the Members tab, under forms. Bring in your art on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10 am to 4 pm. The artist’s Awards Ceremony will be on Sunday, March 3 from 1 to 3 pm.
