And the Winners Are:

First Place was awarded to Marie Hammond from Hesperia for her pen on wood, “Dusk”. 

Second Place went to Rudolph Vessup from Beaumont for his acrylic painting, “Mini Citrus Escape”.

Third Place went to Kathy Paulus from Moreno Valley for her scratchboard painting, “Chickadee”. 

Juror’s Choice were taken by both Teri Franklin and Nancy Wade.

Excellence Awards went to both Cyndi Malsed and Megan Warren.

The Doris Cook Memorial Award was taken by Pat Meeker.

The Gail Brownfield Memorial presented to Geeta Pattanaik.

The Joan Wiley Memorial to Won Madeline Koh.

Robin Mount-Straub won the Watercolor West International Transparent Society’s Best of Watercolors award.

Chuck McCracken took the RAA Past President’s award.

Honorable Mentions were given to Princeton Bernal, Rick Christie, Joan Marie Smith and Steve Sommer.

Blick Art Materials gift certificates went to Julianne Aparicio-Curtis, Jeff Moulds, and Joan Marie Smith.

The 55^th Annual Multi-Media Mini Show, sponsored by the Redlands Art Association, is open to all Southern California artists and/or RAA members. Artists are invited to bring their art to the RAA Gallery on Friday or Saturday, March 8 or 9. Artists outside Redlands can mail in their art to the Gallery.

The MMM Show accepts all media, except video. For example, artists can submit photography, digital (computer) work, fiber art, drawings, glass, sculptures in wood- stone- and metal, as well as the traditional fine arts. The size limitation of the art piece is 14.5″ on any side, including base or frame.  Normally a juried show is for fine arts only but Redlands Art Association encourages all artists to enter. Cash and gift awards will be offered as well as pledges to purchase art.

The juror for the show is Edward Gomez, Assistant Professor at California State University, San Bernardino. He agrees … Being accepted into a juried show gives you bragging rights!
