Pat Meeker will be the featured artist at RAA beginning Oct. 1 and through Oct. 22. Pat is a local watercolor painter who studied art as an undergraduate student and has continued her study by staying active in a wide variety of art approaches. Pat began watercolor painting in 1994. Her ﬁrst class was at the RAA and was taught by Mary Grinyer. She has since taken classes with other local painters including Rosemary Hite and the late Doris Cook. Art has been her life long interest and she continues to take classes and workshops with artists such as Hal Lambert, Gerald Brommer, Tom Fong, Joan McKasson. She has also studied monoprinting with Ron Pokrasso and abstract acrylic with local artist, Denis Hare.
Patʼs art has been juried into the RAA Multi Media Mini show, the Fine Arts Institute of San Bernardino and the National Orange Show. She has also received recognition at the Loma Linda Fine Arts Festival, the Riverside Art Museum and the Redlands Conservancy Plein-Air Show.
